Enter Event Details

All tickets need to be connected to an event so before setting up your tickets you'll need to create a new event.

Event name

This is a required field. For good record-keeping consider a name that is unique from previous events (e.g. Festival 2020, Festival 2021, etc.).

Location

Although not required it's a good idea to let attendees know where the event will happen. This will be displayed on your storefront and on the event page.

Location can be as vague as a city or town, or as specific as the name of a venue.

Start and end times

Enter the date and time that the event will begin and end. This refers to the event itself and not the times that tickets will be on sale.

To keep your dashboard uncluttered, you can choose to automatically archive the event shortly after its end time.

Visibility

If your event is private you can hide it from view in the storefront. When an event is hidden you will still be able to direct people to the link provided here.

Event description

If you have a brief event description or important details to share about the event during the ticket-buying process enter that info here. You can edit this text to include links or add simple styling. Just select some words and you'll be shown a few options for making changes.

Ticket PDF text

Set your default text to be printed on all the tickets that get created for this event. This can include dates and times, venue address, and any other vital information that event attendees will find helpful to have displayed on their printed tickets.

Please note: if the text is too long it won’t display on the PDF ticket. 30 words or less is best.

Virtual Event Settings

If your event is being held online you can include the event URL here. You can also leave this blank and specify links for individual show times when you set up your tickets.

Access details can also be entered here. This info will be shared with the ticket buyer after completing their purchase.
