Add General Ticket Info

Ticket Title

Ticket titles can be as simple as “General Admission”. If your event is complex it can be a good idea to be more descriptive with ticket titles.

Printed tickets already include the event's name and date by default so it’s not generally necessary to include those details in the ticket title.

Description

While an event’s general info can be posted in the “event details”, there are two fields for ticket descriptions. The first is displayed in small-print immediately below the ticket title on the event page and the second, which allows for web links to be shared, is displayed under a “more info” link.

Ticket Quantities

By default there are no limits on the number of tickets that can be sold. To set a cap, select “limit the number of tickets for sale”. Doing so will enable you to enter a quantity.

To limit the number of tickets sold across multiple ticket types you can set up a release with a shared quantity cap. Releases are managed on the third tab, immediately after Pricing.

Visibility

Tickets are available to anyone who can access your storefront. If your event requires private tickets (e.g. VIP comps, pre-sale tickets) that only some people should see you can hide a ticket from public view in the dropdown menu.

To set up tickets for purchase via Private Redemption Pages you will need to define the ticket as “only available with a redemption link”.

Display Groups

Display groups can be used to organize tickets in your dashboard. They can also be used to organize tickets in static or expandable lists on the public event page. Enabling these display preferences can be done in Advanced Settings when editing an event’s details.
