Sell tickets at check-in with a Stripe Wisepad POS device
Pair Tickit’s Check-in App with Stripe’s Wisepad 3 POS device for the best point-of-sale experience. You can accept credit cards, debit cards, Apple Pay, Android Pay and more.
Note: this feature requires iOS version 13 and up, or Android version 8 and up.
Getting started

- Ensure your iOS device is connected to the internet
- Open the Check-in App and go to Setup
- Scroll down to find the “Selling” section and engage the “Use Stripe Terminal POS” option
- The Wisepad will search and connect to the Check-in App
- The Wisepad will periodically update itself with the latest data from Stripe – this can take up to 15 minutes

- Select Checkout and then Card Payment
- Optional: enter the purchaser's name or email if you want to deliver the tickets to them

- The Wisepad device will prompt the purchaser to present their card and complete the payment
- The Wisepad will show that the payment is complete and then, a few seconds later, the iOS device will receive the same notification and show the "Purchase Complete" screen
Troubleshooting
If the Wisepad doesn't pair:
- Bring the two devices closer together
- Make sure the Wisepad is charged and plugged into a power source
- Make sure the iOS device is connected to the internet
- Make sure the iOS device has location services enabled for the Tickit Check-in App (this can be found in general settings)
- At the bottom of the Setup screen, select “clear all app data” and attempt the process again
